Remove the heat pipe gently by holding the pipe, not by holding
its sheet metal block. Be careful not to bend the sheet metal or
heat pipe.

1-5. Removing and Reinstalling the Cabinets
Handle
1.
Remove the front panel.
2.
Remove the four screws (B3
x
8) and remove the
handle.
Bottom Panel
1.
Remove the four screws (B3
x
6).
2.
Disconnect the connector CN1 of the CN-1926 board
that is installed on the bottom panel.
3.
Remove the bottom panel.
Left Panel
1.
Remove the top panel, handle, front panel and battery
case.
2.
Remove the cassette compartment. (Refer to Section 1-6.)
3.
Remove the bottom panel.
4.
Remove the two screws (B3
x
6) and open the
VPR-53 board.
5.
Disconnect the connectors CN206, CN207, CN208,
CN214, CN215 and CN216 of the VPR-53 board.
6.
Disconnect the connector J2 of the DCP-22 board.
7.
Remove the two screws (PSW2.6
x
6) and remove the
heat pipe from the SST-13 board.
8.
Disconnect the connector CN119 of the SST-13 board.
9.
Remove the four screws (B3
x
6) of the left panel.
10. Remove the left panel.
