4-8. A Remarkable CCD Defect Exists (in case of a long-time shutter).
Cause 1: IC1 on the PA-267 board is defective.
1.
Check IC1.
Cause 2: A voltage control does not exist in the cooling element for CCD cooling.

Confirm the voltage of CN202 on the PS-613 board.
2 V (maximum) to 0 V during normal operation (About 1 V at 25
d
C)
Normal: Replace the cooling element.
Cause 3: The defect correction data of CCD is not optimum.
1.
Perform the CCD defect correction adjustment. (Refer to section 5-3-7.)
4-9. No Data can be Recorded in the PC Card even if the REC Button is
pressed. (PC card)
Cause 1: A PC card is not inserted into the PC card slot.
1.
Insert a PC card.
Cause 2: A PC card not compatible with this unit is inserted.
1.
Replace the PC card with a PC card that is compatible with this unit.
The IF-874 board is defective when a PC card is not recognized even if it is replaced.
Cause 3: The Flash mode is set to INPUT.
1.
Set the Flash mode to OFF.
4-10. No Image is Played Back Even If the PLAY Button is Pressed.
Cause 1: A PC card is not inserted into the PC card slot.
1.
Insert a PC card.
Cause 2: The recorded image is not stored in a PC card.
1.
Record an image in the PC card.
2.
Press the “PLAY” button on the control panel to confirm the operation.
4-11. The Captured Image is not Displayed in Proper Brightness.
Cause 1: The “AE MODE” button on the control panel is set to MANUAL
1.
Set the “AE MODE” button to AUTO.
Cause 2: EV COMP correction is performed. (The “EV COMP” button is set to Enable.)

Cause 3: The Flash mode is set to OUTPUT. (The camera is forcibly set to a shutter
value of 1/3.75 sec and a camera gain of 0 dB.)
