4-2. Performance Check
After replacing/removing each part, be sure to check the performance by referring to “3-4. Checking when
Replacing or Removing Parts”. This can be used for narrowing down the defective portion.
4-2-1. DC Current Measurement

Connection
Connect the DC constant voltage power as shown in the figure below with the case (lower) removed.

If the connection is performed with the reverse polarity (

), this unit may be damaged.
Be sure to perform the connection with the correct polarity.
Confirmation
Check that the indication of DC ammeter meets the following specification with the conditions below.
Conditions:
DIMMER MODE: AUTO OFF (When the organic EL is off)
RF REMOTE: OFF
RF POWER: 10 mW
INTERNAL SG: 1 kHz
Power-supply voltage: Voltage between battery terminals: 3.0 V
CODEC MODE:
MODE 2
Specifications:
Indication of DC ammeter = 205 mA or less
DC ammeter DC constant voltage power
Adjust the DC constant voltage
power so that the voltage between
the battery terminals is
3.0 V.
