Setting the Cartridges
Prepare a cartridge and set it to the S-AIT library.
Preparing Cartridges
Affix the provided bar code label to the cartridge, then prepare it for use.
Caution
By default, the library is set to read bar codes. When the library has been set to
read bar codes, it takes very long for the initialization process after the library is
powered on or some operations are performed with cartridges. When bar code
labels are not used, change the library setting not to read bar codes. For details
about the latter procedure, see “BARCODE SET” (page 58).

Affix the provided bar code label to the cartridge.
Squarely affix the bar code label in the position shown in the figure,
orienting it so that the numbers are at the top.

Check whether the write-protect switch is set to the write-enable position.
