Chapter 4 Commands
Caution
Avoid specifying duplicate SCSI ID. When a duplicate SCSI ID is specified, a
conflict message appears and the setting is canceled.
Once you change a SCSI ID, press the “ENTER” button.
The following screen appears.
The new SCSI ID becomes effective when the device is powered on next time.
If you change SCSI ID or ON/OFF setting of drives, power off the library once.
Then power on the library again to restart it.
BARCODE SET
This command is used to enable/disable bar code readers of the library.
Press the “Enter” button when the command menu is displayed, and the LCD
panel display changes as follows. The library is now in Command execution
mode.
Display
Lower line: Displays the setting status of bar code readers.
ENABLE (effective), DISABLE (not effective)
Button Operations
“Up” button and “Down” button: Switches between ENABLE and DISABLE.
“Enter” button:
Confirms the setting.
“Cancel” button:
Returns to the command menu.
USER PASSWORD
This command is used to change a password for USER mode.
Press the “Enter” button when the command menu is displayed, and the LCD
panel display changes as follows. The library is now in Command execution
mode.
Button Operations
“Up” button:
Increases the value by 1 (in the range of 0-9).
“Down” button: Decreases the value by 1(in the range of 0-9).
“Enter” button: Moves forward the cursor (When the cursor is positioned on
the rightmost digit, it moves to the next screen).
“Cancel” button: Moves backward the cursor (When the cursor is positioned on
the leftmost digit, the library returns to the command menu).
