Set S301 on the DM-139B board of CA-590/590P to
“TX”

Input 10 STEP signal from the video signal generator to
the PROMPTER terminal on the CA-590/590P rear
panel.

Adjustment procedure:

Turn slowly

RV901 (RF AGC DLY) on the TR-133B
board counterclockwise

from the maximum position,
and stop it at a position where each black portion of
noise level A (see figure below) becomes minimal.
(Excessive turn causes the SYNC level to deteriorate.)
Note:
Perform the following after the adjustment is completed.

Set S2 (TX

TX side with POWER ON and then to REM.

Re-set S301 on the DM-139B board of CA-590/590P to
“RX”

terminal.
Where each black portion of
noise level A becomes minimal.
