3-6-4. Replacing the Fan
When replacing, be sure to use the specified part.
Fan assembly : 9-885-091-42
Front side
1.
Unplug the power cord from the rear panel of the
CCU-590/590P.
2.
Remove the top cover. (Refer to Section 3-5.)
3.
Remove the power supply unit. (Refer to Section 3-6.)
4.
Remove the DC-DC board. (Refer to Section 3-6-2.)
5.
Remove the two screws and pull out the fan holder
(with fan).
Disconnect the connector J14 on the board and remove
the fan holder.
6.
Remove the three screws to detach the fan assembly
from the fan holder.
7.
After replacement of the fan assembly, reinstall the
removed parts by reversing the steps above.

Install a new fan correctly taking care of its label side
and the harness position as shown in the figure.
3-6-3. Replacing the Fuse

The fuse is critical for safe operation. Be sure to replace it
with the specified part to avoid the danger of a fire or
electric shock.
When replacing, be sure to use the specified part.

1.
Unplug the power cord from the rear panel of the
CCU-590/590P.
2.
Remove the top cover. (Refer to section 3-5. Remov-
ing the Top Cover.)
3.
Remove the power supply unit. (Refer to section 3-6.)
4.
Detach the side panel. (Refer to section 3-6-2.)
5.
Remove the DC-DC board. (Refer to section 3-6-2.)
6.
Detach the fuse cover from the AC-DC board and
remove the fuse.
7.
After replacement of the fuse, reinstall the power
supply unit on the CCU-590/590P by reversing the
steps above.
8.
Connect the power cord, power on the CCU-590/590P,
and check that the unit works normally.
