4-6-6. INCOM1 Demodulation Adjustment
Adjustment category:
C
Note:
Perform this adjustment only
after replacing
1
LV601 and/or
1
LV602 on the TR-133B
board.
Measuring instruments:
Oscilloscope, Audio generator
Extended board:
TR-133B board
Preparation:
.
Set the switches below on the MA-128B board of CA-
590/590P.

.
Input 1 kHz/220 mV p-p sine wave signal from the audio
generator to the pin 2 (X) (GND: pin 3) of the INCOM1
connector (XLR pin 5) of CA-590/590P.
.
Fig.1 (Refer to “4-1-4. Audio Connection”.)
Measurement point:
TP601 (GND: E300)/TR-133B
board
Adjustment procedure:
1.
Set the oscilloscope INPUT (AC/DC) mode to DC,
and connect the probe to TP601 (GND: E300) on the
TR-133B board. Then, turn slowly the
1
LV601 (7.1M
TUNE 1) core up to 1.24
±
0.02 V dc while watching
the oscilloscope screen.
2.
Set the oscilloscope INPUT (AC/DC) mode to “AC”,
and adjust the
1
LV602 (7.1M TUNE2) core to
minimize the carrier.
3.
Perform steps 1 and 2 repeatedly to meet the specifica-
tions in 1 and 2.
4-6-7. INCOM1 Level Adjustment
Adjustment category:
B
Measuring instruments:
Oscilloscope, Audio generator
Extended board:
