Generator Autostart wiring (optional)
There are 3 methods for wiring the autostart
circuit, based on the requirements of the
generator used:
1. 12V
2. 24V
3. Dry Contact (Continuity)
The sonnenBatterie ecoLinx storage system has
ports for all three methods.
12V Signal
1. Locate the green, 2-position plug connector
provided in the accessory kit.
2. Insert stripped ends of customer’s 12V
connection cables into the 2-position plug.
3. Ensure the positive cable is on the bottom
and the negative cable is on the top.
4. Insert the plug into the J11 port on the HUB
board as shown in
Fig. 32
below.

24V Signal
1. Locate the green, 2-position plug connector
provided in the accessory kit.
2. Insert stripped ends of customer’s 24V
connection cables into the 2-position plug.
3. Ensure the positive cable is on the bottom
and the negative cable is on the top.
4. Insert the plug into the J12 port on the HUB
board as shown in
Fig. 33
below.

Dry Contact
1. Ensure that the 2-pin jumper at the top of
the hub board is on jumper 2.
2. Locate the green, 3-position plug connector
provided in the accessory kit.
3. Insert stripped ends of customer’s dry
contact connection cables into the
3-position plug.
4. Ensure the dry contact connection cables
are located on the top two pins of the
3-position plug.
5. Insert the plug into the J13 port on the HUB
