Releasing the switch will stop the lowering procedure.

PLATFORM OVERLOAD

In the event of the platform being overloaded, an audible alarm will sound and the platform con-

trols will stop working.

To re-start the machine, the excess load must first be removed to stop the alarm from sounding.

In a situation where the excess load cannot be removed immediately then the platform overload

switch (refer to Figure 2-13) can be used to move the platform to a safe position so that the excess

load can be removed safely.
