Operation

Once the DC mode is se lected the mo tor will then
power all the func tions in the nor mal man ner, (ex -
clud ing the man ual sta bi liser op er a tion de scribed
above).
The only dif fer ence is that the DC mo tor will only
run when a func tion is se lected e.g. rais ing a boom.

need to op er ate the ELECTRIC PUMP switch in
comjunction with the movement valve le ver.
These switches are lo cated at the ground con trol
sta tion (see Fig ure 13.5.1) and at the plat form con -
trol sta tion (see Figure13.5.2).

Note:
The DC motor will only run when a function is
selected (e.g. raising a boom) and either the
ground station or platform station electric pump
enable switches are operated.

Batteries
Since the Bi-en ergy MHP is pow ered by "Deep Cy -
cle Trac tion Bat ter ies" par tic u lar at ten tion should
be paid to the bat ter ies on-board charger to en sure
proper op er a tion.
The bat ter ies are en closed in a cab i net mounted in
front of the gas o line mo tor (see Fig ure 13.6).

Re move the lock ing catches at each side of the
cab i net and lift the lid off to gain ac cess to the bat -
