4.8 Screen Messages
The MODIS™ unit displays three types of messages:

Confirmations
•
Warnings
•
Errors

To manage on-screen messages:
•
Follow the instructions included with the message.
4.9 Confirmation Messages
Confirmation messages:
•
Inform you that an action has been completed.
•
Inform you when you are about to perform an action that cannot be reversed.
•
Continue the action you have started.
When a user-response is not required, the message displays for a short period before
automatically disappearing from the screen.
4.9.1 Warning Messages
Warning messages inform you when the result of completing the selected action may:
•
Cause in an irreversible change.
•
Be destructive to data, or result in loss of data.
4.9.2 Error Messages
Error messages inform you when an error has occurred, such as:
•
When a cable is disconnected.
•
When a printer is powered off.
•
When a CompactFlash
®
card is inserted improperly.
