Next Dose Start Time
The Next Dose Start Time may be programmed to delay the start of
the next dose of your infusion. However, if a dose is in progress, this
cancels the remainder of the current dose. To avoid interrupting a
dose in progress, wait until the pump is between doses to adjust the
Next Dose Start Time.
Next Dose Start Time may also be set to delay delivery of the first
dose of the infusion. The pump must be running on the selected date
and time in order for delivery to begin.
To set the next dose start time:
1. Stop the pump if it is running. If a dose was delivering when
the pump was stopped, the
“Interrupted”
screen appears.
2. In the
Tasks
menu, press
U
or
D
to
highlight
Next Dose Start Time,
and
press
S
. If you do not have
permission to set the next dose start
time, a security code must be entered
to unlock the keypad.
3. Press
U
or
D
until the desired
next dose start time appears on the
screen, and then select
Confirm.
4. A confirmation message appears
showing your selected next dose start
time and delay. Select
Yes
to confirm.
5. Press the stop/start
9
key to start the pump. The home
screen shows the amount of time remaining until your next
dose starts.
