Data Management
System
Describes the computerised management system
that manages: the displays, stored information,
various cabinet sensors and attached devices,
barcode information, and other inputs. The data
management system manages the system
performance, collects data about the operator,
scope, location, storage duration, OOC, and other
functions. The Data Management System creates
Visual and Audible notifications of performance and
warnings.
Door Lock
Electronic Door locks are located in the middle of
each door behind the door handle
–
the locks are
controlled by swiping a staff barcode (below the
Cabinet Control Screen) to unlock.
If configured as a “Pass
-
Through” cabinet with a rear
door fitted, the door locks are configured as
“Interlocking” allowing only one door to be opened
at a time.
In case of a power failure the door can be unlocked
by inserting a 9V Battery into the battery
compartment located under the Cabinet Control
Screen
–
pressing the battery firmly upwards will
power the door lock to release the door.
In case of a lock failure the cabinet door can be
unlocked by removing the small lock retaining
screws located on the outside edge of the door
handle. The door can be opened for access to the
cabinet and the door lock can be unplugged and
replaced.
Alternatively, if a door lock fails, door lock pins are
located on the door frame of the cabinet and can
be unscrewed by access through the opposite door
of a Pass-Through cabinet or by removing the rear
closing panel if fitted on a single door cabinet.
