8. If your share requires a password, select

. Now use the numeric keys of the remote control, the sliderX
keyboard or an external USB keyboard to enter the login password of
the computer that hosts the file to play. If no password is required, this
field remains empty. Press

to return to the window

9. Press the green function key twice to confirm your entries and return to
the Settings menu.
10. Turn off the receiver using the power switch on the back. Turn on the
receiver again. Now, under
Media / Network
you see the computer
that hosts the shared file or folder.

to see the shared file or folder.

How to Share Folders and Drives
Here we describe the folder sharing in a windows home network while
using a computer with Windows 7 Professional or Windows XP Profes-
sional. If you are working with a different operating system (Mac OS,
Linux) or a NAS

drive, please refer to the respective manual for the right
procedure.
For other Windows operating systems, the sharing of
folders is similar, but often there is no possibility of de-
tailed security settings!
