2-4. Transportation Route
The unpacked SKYTRON I5 Washer-Disinfector
measures 35½”W x 33”D x 79”H (900 x 840 x
2000 mm) and weighs 800 lbs (363 kg). SKYTRON
recommends that a transportation route from
the receiving dock to the installation location be
considered for height, width, and service elevator
accessibility with the machine sitting on a pallet jack
for transportation.
CAUTION
Transport the SKYTRON I5 Washer-
Disinfector using a fork lift truck or pallet
jack with appropriate lifting power and
suitable forks.
Step 6
Position the pallet jack forks so they are parallel
with and very close to the side of the pallet.
Step 7
Adjust the height of the pallet jack base so it is
even with the top of the pallet.
Step 8
Carefully slide the
Washer
off the pallet until the
Washer
is centered on the pallet jack forks.
Step 9
Prepare to transport the
Washer
,
Stainless-
Steel Panels
, and two
Accessory Packages
to
the installation location.
CAUTION
Careless or reckless handling of the
Washer on the pallet jack can lead to
the Washer falling off. Ensure that there
is at least one operator on each side
of the pallet jack to steady the Washer
when transporting. Slow and deliberate
transportation procedures are advised.
