3.2. Preparing for use
The device is intended for indoor use only. It is forbidden
to use the device in a humid environment and / or high
temperature (above 45 ° C). Protect the device from rain,
water pouring or/and direct operation of sunbeam. Place
the device on a dry, even and stable surface that will
withstand its weight and the weight of its contents.
Battery installation

Remove the flap frame

Turn the frame of the flap by 180 °

Insert the batteries in accordance with the direction
of polarization indicated on the device and battery

3.3 Device use
Turning on the device
Switch on the device using the on / off button
(at the back of the device in the case of models CON.SB-
30L; CON.SB-40L; CON.SB-50L
or at the bottom of the flap frame in the case of CON.SDB-
50L, CON.SDB-60L.)
After switching on, the device goes into standby mode.
Automatic opening of the flap
In order to open the device flap automatically it is
necessary to bring your hand or the object intended to
be thrown into the trash nearer. When the device sensor
detects something within its reach (about 20 cm in the
case of models CON.SDB-50L; CON.SDB-60L or 30 cm in
the case of models CON.SB-30L; CON.SB-40L; CON.SB-50L)
the hand or the object, the flap will open and after a few
seconds it will close.
Manual flap control
In order to control the flap manually, it is necessary to
touch the control panel surface. In order to open the flap,
it is necessary to touch the opening surface. The flap will
remain open until the manual flap closing is actuated
(in models CON.SDB-50L, CON.SDB-60L the display will
show the digit 0). In order to close the flap manually, it is
necessary to touch the surface which
actuates the closing.
3.4. Cleaning and maintenance
•
Only use a dry cloth to clean the device. Water
or cleaning agents can damage the electronic
components of the device.

For cleaning the surface and interior of the container
of the device it is necessary to only use agents that
do not contain corrosive substances.

Regularly clean the transparent cover of the sensor
and the touch surface.
•
Dry all parts well after cleaning before the device is
used again.
•
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
SAFE REMOVAL OF BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES
AA 1,5V batteries are installed in the devices. Worn
batteries must be removed from the device proceeding
analogously to their installation. Recycle batteries.
DISPOSING OF USED DEVICES
Do not dispose of this device to municipal waste systems.
Hand it over to electric and electrical device recycling and
collection point. Check the symbol on the product, user
manual and packaging. The plastics used to construct the
device can be recycled in accordance with their markings.
