5.6 Dismantling Sensor IQ Easy (slide bracket)
- Disconnect the M12 connector from the anti-static bar.
- Unscrew the adjusting screws (nr. 7) from the brackets (see figure 7).
- Slide the Sensor with brackets off the mounting feet, in the direction of the triangles to the
stop, then pull the Sensor from the mounting feet straight up.
5.7 Connecting Sensor IQ Easy
Warning:
- Adhere to the warnings at the beginning of this chapter.
- The Manager IQ Easy must be earthed properly, which will earth the GND
automatically. This will also connect the covers to the earth.
- Connect the Sensor to one of the outputs of the Manager IQ Easy, using an 1:1 M12
connection cable, Male-Female, 5 pins.
The standard M12 connector can be connected during operation of the Manager IQ Easy.
Hence, it does not need to be powered down.

5.8 Connecting air supply
Warning:
- Maximum pressure 1 bar
- Use clean moisture- and oil free air. Mount a moisture- and oil filter in the air supply.
If there is a chance of dust or other particles in the environment fouling the sensor opening, we
recommend a slight overpressure at the sensor head. For this, connect an air hose with a 6 mm
outer diameter to the quick connect air supply.
