2 Description and operation
The Sensor IQ Easy consists of a bar-shaped plastic profile. On one side of this profile a supply
voltage connector is placed (see fig. 1). Additionally, a docking station is placed on a number of
customer specific positions. Each docking station is equipped with a dummy. These dummies
can be easily replaced by a segment unit. Each segment unit is equipped with a sensor.
At the supply voltage connector, 3 LEDs are placed.
The status LEDs indicate whether the Sensor IQ Easy is on standby or operating or showing a
warning or alert.
