Operation
Two operating modes are available:
Calibration mode
This is the normal operating mode in which you calibrate the test specimens.
Set point mode
You can enter the set temperature in this mode.
5.1
Calibrating (calibration mode)
The calibrator is in calibration mode as soon as it has been switched on and initialized.
In the first line of the display, the current reference temperature is shown.
In the second line of the display, the set temperature is shown.
The LED OUT 1 indicates the status of the output for the heater control:
•
LED OUT 1 is lit:
Temperature is being increased.
•
LED OUT 1 flashes:
Metal block has almost reached the set temper-
ature.
•
LED OUT 1 is not lit:
Heater is switched off.
5.2
Set temporary set temperature (set point mode)
In this mode, you can set a set temperature.
Shortly press the P key.
In the first line of the display, the current active set
point memory is shown e.g. SP2 (Set point 2).
In the second line of the display, the corresponding
set temperature is shown.
Press the
key to increase the set temperature.
Press the
key to decrease the set temperature.
You can increase or decrease the set temperature
faster, if you press and hold the
or
key.
Press the P key to confirm the entered set temperature.
IMPORTANT!
If you don’t press any key in the set point mode for about 10 seconds, the controller au-
tomatically returns to the calibration mode with the entered set temperature.
