Stabilizing the reference temperature
The switch on time of the heater is indicated by the red
LED OUT 1.
During the heating up phase, a constantly lit LED indi-
cates the supply of heat energy, a flashing LED indi-
cates that the reference temperature has almost
reached the set temperature and the heat energy is
now being supplied at short intervals.
In order to guarantee excellent temperature
stability, the cycle time of the controller is set to
low and the control output is addressed on a
regular basis.
4.6
Testing temperature sensors
CAUTION! Risk of burns!
The calibrator can become very hot when in operation. Touching hot parts can result in
serious injuries.
Never touch the metal block, the tank, the adapter sleeve or the test specimen at
temperatures above 35 °C or below 10 °C.
Allow the calibrator to cool before you remove the test specimen, change the adapter
sleeve or the calibration insert or switch off the device.
Before testing:
Before the start of the testing process, check whether
the instructions regarding the installation site and the operational position have been
complied with (
§ 4.1).
the electrical connections have been made correctly (
§ 4.2).
the test specimen is securely fixed in the calibrator.
the calibrator has sufficient structural stability.
Indication of the LED OUT 1
Control is done by PID algorithm.
