Malfunctions and how to fix them

Malfunctions
The program does not start.
Cause/Solution
■ Do you have the button Start/Refill touched or B Ready in/Drying time
chosen?
Is the door closed?
Child lock activated? Deactivate the child lock. Shop mode
activated?When the displaya•<displays for 5 seconds after you turn
on the device, the device is in shop mode. Wait for the display
messagea•< disappears. Touch and hold Start/Reload for at least 5
s. ”” then appears on the display panel. Turn the program selector
to( off). Now you have already turned off the shop mode. You can
now use the device as normal.

The water is not drained
■
The drain pipe or water drain hose is clogged. Clean the drain pipe and the water
drain hose.
The drain pipe or water drain hose is jammed or closed. Make sure that
the drain pipe and the water drain hose are not kinked or pinched. The
drain pump is clogged.

Used too much detergent?
Mix 1 tablespoon of fabric softener with liter of water and pour into dispenser II.
(Not for outdoor or sportswear or down-filled textiles!)
Reduce the detergent dosage for the next wash.
Use a commercially available low foaming detergent and care
product that is suitable for the machine.
Repeated, intensive
foaming.
Have you used too much detergent? Use less detergent on the next
wash cycle with the same load.
