A flat-bit screwdriver (bit size: 0.4 mm × 2.5 mm).

Cable with a cross section of 0.2 mm

Note 
The signal cable is not provided in the delivery.

Procedure 

The following takes X121 port 1 as an example to indicate the connection of cable on the 

SINAMICS CONNECT side. 
1.

 

Align the screwdriver with the terminal, and push it downwards on the release lever with a 

maximum force of 12 N. 

2.

 

Insert the cable from above. 

3.

 

Release the screwdriver after the cable is inserted in the indicated position. 

 

 

 

Note 
Siemens recommends that you use the signal cable with a length less than 3 m.
