The Integral Real-Time Clock

12.2.2 Reading the Current Clock Time and the Current Date

Proceed as follows to see how and with which values the clock runs.

Perform an overall reset.

Output DB1 to the programmer.

Overwrite both (#) comment characters with a blank space.

Generate DB5 with DW0 to DW21. See Table 12-3 for information about storing the current
clock time and current date.

Switch the programmable controller from STOP to RUN. The clock accepts the values present
in DB1.

Enter DB5 and DW0 to DW3 on the programmer by using the FORCE VAR function.

Press the “ENTER” key twice. The clock runs using the current values.
