Configure a CiR object and a sufficiently long macrocycle at the FF segment.
Calculate schedule
To calculate the schedule, click the "Calculate schedule" button on the "Macrocycle" tab of the
"Properties - Foundation Fieldbus" dialog.
The schedule is automatically calculated when you download the configuration.
Including device-internal blocks
The following blocks are considered when diagnosing FF devices:
● Interconnected function blocks
● Resource block
● Transducer blocks
Only interconnected function blocks are processed and included in the schedule calculation.
Changes made with SIMATIC PDM become effective only for interconnected function blocks.

Using the applications
5.4.1
Overview
In HW Config you have reproduced the configuration of the FF segment in the system.
Interconnect the signals of the function blocks individually for FF devices. The created symbolic
names facilitate further configuration.
Create the charts for the automation system in CFC.
In order for the signals to be available on the operator station, interconnect the signals to
technological blocks.
You can then commission them. After the compiling and downloading of all components, the
functions of the FF devices are available on the operator station.
