3.2.3 Configuring SINEMA RC and TIA Cloud Connector on the device
Requirement
• SCALANCE M874 has been created on the SINEMA RC.
• The SINEMA RC certificate is imported into the SCALANCE M874.
Procedure
1. Click "System > SINEMA RC" in the navigation area.
2. Configure the SINEMA RC with the following settings:
SINEMA RC address IP address of the SINEMA RC server
SINEMA RC port 443
Verification type: CA certificate
CA certificate The imported CA certificate
Device ID The device ID is created automatically when the device is created in the
SINEMA RC server.
Confirm device pass-
word
The password configured for access.
Auto Firewall/NAT
rules
The firewall and NAT rules are created automatically for the VPN connec-
tion. The connections between the configured exported subnets and the
subnets that can be reached via the SINEMA RC server are allowed. The
NAT settings are implemented as configured in the SINEMA RC server.
You can enable SINEMA RC to access specific services of the device under
"Security > Firewall > Predefined IPv4".

3. Select "Enable SINEMA RC" and click the "Set Values" button.
4. Click "System" > "Cloud Connector" in the navigation area.
5. Configure the TIA Portal Cloud Connector with the following settings:
Port 9023
(default port)
If you change the default port, make sure that it is not occupied by another ser-
vice.
Protocol PROFINET
Interface Activate vlan1 (INT)
6. Select "Enabled" during operation and click the "Set Values" button.
