Connecting the RF182C to functional ground (PE)

Standard grounding via the fixing screw

Optional grounding via a grounding cable

Mount the module on the grounded, metallic base as

described in section

Mounting the I/O module.

Unpainted thread or nut base

Isolate the grounding cable and secure the cable lug.

Screw the cable lug on to the communication module

(M5 grounding screw). The tightening torque is 3 Nm.
