5.1.3 Rotating the Housing over the Measuring Cell
The electronic housing can be rotated over the measuring cell if necessary in the
SITRANS P, MS series series transmitter so that the digital indicator (if fitted)
becomes visible and access to the pushbuttons and the connection for an external
measuring instrument is possible.
Only limited rotation is permitted! The range of rotation (1, Figure 21, p. 105) is
marked at the base of the electronic housing; there is an orientation mark (3) on the
neck of the measuring cell which must stay within the marked range when rotating.
•
Loosen locking screw ((2), hexagon socket head 2.5 mm).
• Rotate the electronic housing over the measuring cell (only inside the marked
range).
• Tighten the locking screw (3.4 to 3.6 torque 3,4
+0,2
Nm).
