Local functions
Use the menu "Local Functions" to define some local features of
your telephone: you can define a password and reset memory al-
locations.
Abbreviated Dialing
Use this function to program up to 12 abbreviated dialing numbers.
Note the index of the current abbreviated number is displayed to
the left of the number itself. Entries that are not currently config-
ured shown as "Not programmed".
Press
to start entering digits in the current dialling mode or
start entering digits immediately which places the user in the cur-
rent default dialling mode. Alternatively you may use the arrow
keys to select a different dialling mode before entering digits. If the
abbreviated number is already programmed and you press
these digits are transferred to the top line of the screen shown be-
low. You then may edit them before storing. However if you does
not press
but start entering digits from the keypad the current-
ly programmed digits are discarded and you’ll see a top line which
only contains the digits you have entered from the keypad.
