Answering a Call
The telephone rings with a specific call signal.
z
When you receive an internal call, your tele-
phone rings once every four seconds (single-
tone sequence).
z
When you receive an external call, your tele-
phone rings twice in rapid succession every
four seconds (dual-tone sequence).
z
When you receive a call from the entrance
telephone, your telephone rings three times
in rapid succession every four seconds (three-
tone sequence).
The number or the name of the caller appears on
the display. A call on a trunk key makes this key
flash.
You can conduct the call with the handset or in
speakerphone mode.
Precondition:
Your telephone rings. “US:Call
from: UK:From:... (station no. or name)” appears
on the display.

Lift the handset.
