Configuring preferred redirection location
A call can be redirected in your base station or on the network.

Double-click
Configuration
in
Folder List
.
This displays the dialogues available.

Click
Base settings
.
The corresponding tabs are then displayed.

Open the
Assignments
tab.
ì
Define the
Preferred redirection location
:
– Click
In the base
, if you want the base station to redirect the call.
The second B-channel of the ISDN line will be used for redirecting calls.
or
– Click
In the network
, if you want the call to be redirected on the network.
The base station then sends the destination telephone numbers for each call for-
ward to your network provider. This will leave both B-channels of your ISDN line
free when a call is forwarded. You can activate several call forward numbers at
the same time.

Apply

The new settings will be sent to the base station.

The base station can only redirect the call if the second B-channel is
free. If this is not the case, then the caller will hear the busy tone.
