Baby alarm
A registered handset can also be used as a baby alarm. If
this function is switched on, an internal call is made to a
second handset if noise above a specified volume is de-
tected. The call lasts approximately one minute and then
the baby alarm switches back to "BabyAlarm active" until
the noise level exceeds the specified level again.

whereas a value of 3 will require a higher volume to be ac-
tivated.

Do not place the handset in the charging
unit if the baby alarm is activated as the mi-
crophone will be covered.

This function must only be used if the bat-
teries are fully charged.

Standby times are reduced when the baby
alarm is activated.

Warning beeps, such as the battery and in
range warnings, should be deactivated be-
fore you switch on the baby alarm so that
the baby is not disturbed by them.
