Setting the preferred station
We recommend that you define a preferred base station
if the handset is located in an overlap area between two
or more base station radio areas.
There are two ways of setting the preferred station:

you can specify a base station at which the handset
should operate permanently (
"fixed"
). This prevents
automatic change to other base stations,
●
you specify a station at which the handset should
"preferably"
operate. In this case, the handset
searches for the preferred station. The best station is
then selected if the preferred station is not found
within 30 s.
