(ESC function).

14.2  Damping function

When the target object‘s temperature is erratic, the damping function smoothens 

these temperature fluctuations in order to stabilize the measuring signal. The 

greater the time constant [

DAP

], the lower the effect of these fluctuations on the 

yielded temperature reading.
