8.6
Application of the balancing weights

After you have secured the balancing weights, repeat
the unbalance measurement for checking purposes.
8.6.1
Spring-clip weights and adhesive weights for
standard programs
i
LEDs in arrow form (Fig. 9, Item 7) indicate the di-
rection in which the wheel has to be turned in order
to reach the 12 o’clock position for securing the
balancing weight.

In the following description the audio is activated.
Internal weight fixing:
1.
Turn the wheel by hand.
The LED (Fig. 9, pos. 8) lights-up as soon as the
correct position for fixing the balancing weight is
reached and an acoustic signal sounds to confirm
the correct position.
2.
Fix the balancing weight of the value shown on the
left display in the highest position perpendicular (12
o'clock) to the wheel.

The internal weight can be either a spring-clip weight
of an adhesive weight according to the selected
balancing program.

nal clamp

External weight fixing:
1.
Turn the wheel by hand.

correct position for fixing the balancing weight is

Fix the balancing weight of the value shown on the
right display in the highest position perpendicular
(12 o'clock) to the wheel.

weight of an adhesive weight according to the selec-
ted balancing program.

Spring-clip weights and adhesive weights for
non standard programs

Measurement evaluation:
The value for the adhesive weight that must be
applied through the internal clamp for weights
(Alu2 and Pax2) or as spring-clip weight (Alu3)
appears in the left display.
The value for the adhesive weight to be attached
by way of the outer weight pliers appears in the
right-hand display.

Turn the wheel by hand.

correct position for fixing the balancing weight is
reached and an acoustic signal sounds to confirm
the correct position.
2.
Fix the balancing weight of the value shown on the
