8. Transport Procedures (Moving on a Vehicle)
WARNING: TIPPING OVER
Always be sure to keep the mast to the lowest position when moving.
CAUTION: FIRE
Be careful that the power cord is not caught or pulled when raising or lowering
the telescopic mast or transporting the floodlight. Doing so could result in
faulty power cord connection, internal severed wire or short circuit due to heat,
or similar fault.
<Note>
Do not give any shock to the lamp fitting. An impact
to the LED could result in LED damage.
Be sure to always cover the lamp fitting when
transporting on a vehicle, and secure the front
edge of the lamp fitting is facing the direction of
movement of the vehicle.
Transporting on a vehicle with no external cover
can result in the balloon fabric worn out by the wind
and resulting damage.
Setting the lamp fitting in the opposite direction can
result in the wind penetrating through the cover
opening, causing the cover to blow off and also damage to the balloon fabric.
Securely tighten the handles (rotation and tilt handles) for securing the lamp fitting when
transporting on a vehicle. Insecure tightening can result in the lamp fitting moving,
causing to fall off from the vehicle or severe damage.
9. Lamp Fitting Installing/Removing Procedures
Perform the following procedures to remove the balloon lamp fitting when it is installed to a
stand or pole. Install by performing the procedures in the reverse order.
Keep the mast to the lowest position.
(Refer to "5-2. Lifting/Lowering the Mast".)
Secure the lamp fitting at an angle slightly
raised above level. (Refer to "5-1. Using
the Lamp Fitting".)
<Note>
If the lamp fitting is lowered to level,
removing the nut and bolt in Step
can
result in the lamp fitting slipping and falling
off.
Remove the upper part from the lamp
fitting except tilt part as shown. While
removing the nut and bolt, support the
lamp fitting base to keep balance, before
remove from the shaft.
