6.5.11.1 ROCKSHOX Paragon Silver coil spring
Only applies to pedelecs with this equipment

Put on your normal cycling clothing, including
baggage. Ask someone to hold the bicycle.
Stand on the pedals while wearing cycling
clothing. Allow the damper to deflect three
times. Sit or stand on the bicycle in a normal
riding position.

Ask your helper to push the
O-ring
downwards
until it reaches the top of the dust wiper seal.

Get off the pedelec without allowing it to
deflect.

Note distance between dust wiper and the O-
ring. This distance is the sag.

Check the sag.

If the desired sag is not achieved, the spring
preload must be adjusted internally and/or the
coil spring replaced. Contact specialist dealer.

internal adjustment to the preload.
Preloading the coil spring on ROCKSHOX
Paragon forks is an internal adjustment that
compresses or decompresses the spring without
changing the deflection.
The coil spring can be preloaded 5 mm or 10 mm
using the internal preload spacer.
