ESS-ID checkbox

Uncheck this checkbox to specify the ESS-ID.

Enter the ESS-ID when the “ESS-ID checkbox” is
unchecked.

Network Type drop-down
list button

Select the “Infrastructure” (for connection via wireless
LAN access point) or “802.11 Ad-Hoc” (for ad-hoc
connection) when the “ESS-ID checkbox” is
unchecked.

Channel spinbox

Select the desired channel for the Ad-Hoc network
connection.
This setting cannot be used if the “Infrastructure” is
