SERVICE CALL CHECK
Check the follow ing before calling service:
1. Does the display light?

2. When the door is opened, is the oven lam p sw itched on?

3. Place one cup of w ater (approx. 250 m l) in a glass m easure in the oven and close the door securely.
Program m e the oven for one m inute on 100% (HIGH). At this m om ent:
A. Does the oven lam p light?
Yes
No
B.
Does the cooling fan w ork?
Yes
No
(Put your hand over the rear ventilation openings.)
C. Does the turntable rotate?
Yes
No
(The turntable can rotate clockw ise or counterclockw ise. This is quite norm al.)
D. Do the m icrow ave sym bol and COOK indicator light?
Yes
No
E.
After one m inute, did an audible signal sound?
Yes
No
F.
Is the w ater inside the oven hot?
Yes
No
4. Rem ove w ater from the oven and program m e the oven for 3 m inutes on GRILL m ode.
A. Does the grill heater sym bol and COOK indicator light?
Yes
No
B.
After 3 m inutes, does the heater becom e red?
Yes
No
If "NO" is the answ er to any of the above questions, please check your w all socket and the fuse in your
m eter box.
If both the w all socket and the fuse are functioning properly, CONTACT THE SHARP SERVICE CENTRE.
NOTE: 1. If tim e in the display is counting dow n very rapidly, check Dem onstration M ode.

2. The follow ing thing is not trouble;
Each cooking m ode has a m axim um cooking tim e. If you operate the oven longer than the
m axim um tim e, the pow er w ill autom atically be reduced. The table below show s the
m axim um tim e for each cooking m ode.
