CARE AND CLEANING
CLEAN THE OVEN AT REGULAR INTERVALS
IM PORTANT:
Disconnect the pow er supply cord before cleaning. And if possible leave the door open to inactivate
the oven during cleaning.
Before cleaning, m ake sure the oven door, outer cabinet, oven cavity, air vent openings, turntable,
turntable support and racks are not hot.
Exterior:
The outside m ay be cleaned w ith m ild soap and w arm w ater; w ipe w ith a soft cloth.
Avoid the use of harsh abrasive cleaners.
Door:
Wipe the door and w indow on both sides, the door seals and adjacent parts frequently w ith a dam p cloth
to rem ove any spills or spatters. Do not use abrasive cleaner.
Touch Control Panel:
Care should be taken in cleaning the control panel. Wipe the panel w ith a cloth dam pened slightly w ith
w ater only. Do not scrub or use any sort of chem ical cleaners. Avoid the use of excess w ater.
Interior w alls:
Wipe spatters and spills w ith a little dishw ashing liquid on a soft dam p cloth. For heavier stains inside
the oven cavity only, use a m ild stainless steel cleaner applied w ith a soft dam p cloth. Do not apply to
the inside of the door. Wipe clean ensuring all cleaner is rem oved. After use w ipe the w aveguide cover
in the oven w ith a soft dam p cloth to rem ove any food splashes. Built-up splashes m ay overheat and
begin to sm oke or catch fire. Do not rem ove the w aveguide cover.
DO NOT USE CAUSTIC CLEANERS, ABRASIVE OR HARSH CLEANSERS OR SCOURING PADS ON
YOUR OVEN. NEVER SPRAY OVEN CLEANERS DIRECTLY ONTO ANY PART OF YOUR OVEN. DO
NOT USE A STEAM CLEANER.
Avoid using excess w ater. After cleaning the oven, ensure any w ater is rem oved w ith a soft cloth.
Note: At regular intervals, heat the oven referring to "Heating w ithout Food" on page 6. Because,
the splashed dirt or food oil rem ained around grill heater and oven w alls m ay cause the sm oke and
odour.
Turntable/ Turntable Support/ Racks:
Wash w ith m ild soapy w ater and dry thoroughly.
