IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION
The door may become hot during
cooking, place or mount the oven so
that the bottom of the oven is 85cm or
more above the floor.
4. Do not allow the power supply cord to
run over any hot or sharp surfaces,
such as the hot air vent area at the top
rear of the oven.

Remo ve all packing materials fro m the inside o f
the o ven cavity. Discard the lo o se po lythene
sheet fro m between the do o r and cavity.
Remo ve the feature sticker, if attached, fro m the
outside
o f the o ven do o r.
Do no t remo ve the pro tective film attached to

inside
o f the do o r

Check the o ven carefully fo r any sig ns o f
damag e.

Place the o ven o n a flat, level surface stro ng
eno ug h to suppo rt the o ven’s weig ht plus the
heaviest item likely to be co o ked.

level fo r co o king , fo llo w the advice g iven in the
re c ip e se c tio n. G e ne ra lly the fo llo w ing
reco mmendatio ns apply:

- used fo r fast co o king o r reheating e.g .
so up, c a sse ro le s, c a nne d fo o d, ho t b e ve ra g e s,
veg etables, fish, etc.
560 W
- used fo r lo ng er co o king o f dense fo o ds
such as ro ast jo ints, meat lo af and plated meals,
also fo r sensitive dishes such as cheese sauce and
spo ng e cakes. At this reduced setting , the sauce
will no t bo il o ver and fo o d will co o k evenly witho ut
o ver co o king at the sides.
400 W
- fo r dense fo o ds which require a lo ng
co o king time when co o ked co nventio nally, eg . beef
dishes, it is advisable to use this po wer setting to
ensure the meat will be tender.
240 W
De fro st se tting - to d e fro st, se le c t this
p o w e r se tting , to e nsure tha t the d ish d e fro sts
evenly. This setting is also ideal fo r simmering rice,
pasta, dumpling s and co o king eg g custard.
