Do no t use metal utensils, which reflect micro waves
and may cause electrical arcing . Do no t put cans in
the o ven.
Use o nly the turntable and the ro ller stay desig ned fo r
this o ven.
To prevent the turntable fro m breaking :
(a) Befo re cleaning the turntable with water, leave the
turntable to co o l.
(b) Do no t put ho t fo o ds o r ho t ute nsils o n a c o ld
turntable.
(c) Do no t put co ld fo o ds o r co ld utensils o n a ho t
turntable.
Do no t place anything o n the o uter cabinet during
o peratio n.
Do no t use plastic co ntainers fo r micro waving if the
o ven is still ho t fro m using the
GRILL
mo de o peratio n,
because they may melt. Plastic co ntainers must no t be
use d d uring a b o ve mo d e s unle ss the c o nta ine r
manufacturer says they are suitable.
To avoid the possibility of explosion and
sudden boiling:
WARNING: Liquids and other foods must
not be heated in sealed containers since
they are liable to explode.
N ever use sealed co ntainers. Remo ve seals and lids
befo re use. Sealed co ntainers can explo de due to a
build up o f pressure even after the o ven has been
turned o ff.
Ta ke c a re when mic ro wa ving liq uids. Use a wide-
mo uthed co ntainer to allo w bubbles to escape.
Never heat liquids in narrow necked
containers such as baby bottles, as this may
result in the contents erupting from the
container when heated and cause burns.
To p re ve nt sud d e n e rup tio n o f b o iling liq uid a nd
po ssible scalding :

Stir liquid prio r to heating / reheating .
2.
It is advisable to insert a g lass ro d o r similar utensil
into the liquid whilst reheating .
3.
Let liquid stand fo r at least 2 0 seco nds in the o ven
a t the e nd o f c o o king time to pre ve nt de la ye d
eruptive bo iling .
Do not cook eggs in their shells, and whole
hard boiled eggs should not be heated in
microwave ovens since they may explode
even after microwave cooking has ended.
To cook or reheat eggs which have not
been scrambled or mixed, pierce the yolks
and the whites, or the eggs may explode.
Shell and slice hard boiled eggs before
reheating them in the microwave oven.
Pierce the skin o f such fo o ds as po tato es, sausag es
and fruit befo re co o king , o r they may explo de.
To avoid the possibility of burns
Use po t ho lders o r o ven g lo ves when remo ving fo o d
fro m the o ven to prevent burns.
A lw a ys o p e n c o nta ine rs, p o p c o rn ma ke rs, o ve n
co o king bag s, etc., away fro m the face and hands to
avo id steam burns.
To avoid burns, always test food
temperature and stir before serving and
pay special attention to the temperature of
food and drink given to babies, children or
the elderly.
Temperature o f the co ntainer is no t a true indicatio n o f
the temperature o f the fo o d o r drink; always check the
fo o d temperature.
Always stand back fro m the o ven do o r when o pening
to avo id burns fro m escaping steam and heat.

Keep children away fro m the do o r to prevent them
burning themselves.
