CARE AND CLEANING
SERVICE CALL CHECK
Please check the following before calling for service.
1. Power Supply
Check the power plug is properly connected to a suitable wall outlet.
Check the line fuse/ circuit breaker is functioning properly.
2. Place a cup of water (approx. 150 ml) in the oven and close the door securely.
Programme the oven for one minute on 800 W power and start the oven.
Does the oven lamp come on?
YES
NO
Does the turntable rotate?
YES
NO
NOTE:
The turntable turns in either direction.
Does the ventilation work?
YES
NO
(Place your hand over the ventilation openings and check for air flow.)
After 1 minute does the signal sound?
YES
NO
Is the water warm after the above operation?
YES
NO
3. Set the
MICROWAVE POWER/GRILL CONTROL
knob to
GRILL
cooking for 3 minutes.
After 3 minutes does the G RILL heating element become red?
YES
NO

Oven exterior
The o utside o f yo ur o ven can be cleaned easily with
mild so ap and water. Make sure the so ap is wiped o ff
with a mo ist clo th, and dry the exterio r with a so ft
to wel.
Oven controls
O pen the do o r befo re cleaning to de-activate the o ven
co ntro ls. Care sho uld be taken when cleaning the
o ven co ntro ls. Using a clo th dampened with water
o nly, g ently wipe the panel until it beco mes clean.
Avo id using excessive amo unts o f water.
Do no t use any so rt o f chemical o r abrasive cleaner.

Oven Interior
1 . Fo r cleaning , wipe any splatters o r spills with a so ft
damp clo th o r spo ng e after each use while the
o ven is still warm. Fo r heavier spills, use a mild
so ap and wipe several times with a damp clo th
until all residues are remo ved. Do no t remo ve the
waveg uide co ver.
2 . Make sure that mild so ap o r water do es no t
penetrate the small vents in the walls which may
cause damag e to the o ven.
3 . Do no t use spray type cleaners o n the o ven
interio r.
4 . At reg ular intervals, heat the g rill, see pag e 7 ,
because the splashed dirt o r o il aro und the g rill
heating element and o ven walls may cause smo ke
and o do ur
Turntable and Roller stay
Remo ve the turntable and ro ller stay fro m the o ven.
W ash the turntable and ro ller stay in mild so apy
water. Dry with a so ft clo th. Bo th the turntable and
the ro ller stay are dishwasher safe.
Rack
The rack sho uld be washed in mild washing up liquid
so lutio n and dried. The rack is dishwasher safe.
Door
To remo ve all trace o f dirt, reg ularly clean bo th sides
o f the do o r, the do o r seals and sealing surfaces with a
so ft, damp clo th.
NOTE:
If you cook the food over the standard time
with the same cooking mode, the power of the oven
will lower automatically to avoid overheating.
(The microwave power level will be reduced).
