2.2.4
Microphones
The microphones record noises at the measurement locations.
This data is then sent to the transmitters via cable.
The system can be used with different microphones. One micro
-
phone is required for each
RT 200
transmitter. The same type of
microphone must always be used for the two transmitters.
2.2.4.1 UM 200 universal microphone
The
UM 200
is a highly sensitive microphone for picking up struc-
ture-borne noise.
The
UM 200
is connected directly to the
RT 200
receiver with a
cable.
Accessories can be attached to the
UM 200
. The right accesso-
ries can be used to secure the microphone at various measure-
ment locations.
The microphone features a light which can be used to illuminate
the measurement location (torch function).

CAUTION! Risk of glare
The light source comprises two powerful LEDs.

Do not look directly into the light.
●
Never shine the light into the eyes of another person.
Contact adapter
The contact adapter is an accessory with which the microphone
can be attached directly to the measuring point.
