1.6 Laser Classification
The diode lasers used in the SERVOTOUGH LaserExact Monitors operate in the
near infrared (NIR) range between 700 and 2400 nm depending on the gas to be
measured. The lasers have an output power and optical arrangement, which
according to IEC 60825-1 2007 classifies the SERVOTOUGH LaserExact Monitors
as
Laser Class 3R Laser Product . Accordingly, the product bears the following
markings:
WARNING
The laser beam is switched on when any indication is shown on the
display, or the backlight is illuminated.
