5.2.6 Compressing the raw SBF files
The hourly SBF fi les can be very large so it may be a good idea to compress these fi les. This
can be done by de fi ning a second post-processing action on the ‘ Post Processing ’ tab of the
main window of RxLogger.
I n the same way as before, click Add to con fi gure a new post-processing action as shown in
Figure 5-12. This time, in the ‘ Post Process Action I nput and Type ’ window, just click ‘ Next ’ as
there is no conversion to apply. You can now select the compression program you wish to
use.

As before, enter a name and description of this new post-processing action and click ‘ Finish ’ .
Make sure to check the Remove Source Files box in the Post Processing tab as shown in
Figure 5-13 in order to delete the original (non-compressed) SBF fi les.
