Radio Adaptor
Please read the instructions carefully before any use
of this product, and retain for future reference.
Step 5:
Replace the plastic side plate on Pillar, taking care
not to damage the antenna. The antenna wire will then
need to be plug into the socket on the DAB unit. Please
ensure the wire does not impeed in any way the safe usage
of the steering wheel on the vehicle.
1) Plug the DAB Radio Adaptor into the vehicle 12V socket.
Choose a frequency on the DAB Transmitter using the
Previous/Next buttons (4 & 9) or turn the central multi-key
to select a frequency (5). Please Note; the device will
automatically quit to main menu if nothing is done for 5
seconds. Press the central multi-key (5) over 3 secs to
enter the chosen frequency.
2) Tune the vehicle FM radio to the same frequency as the
DAB transmitter and lock in the frequency (for best results
choose an FM frequency with NO station playing). The car
kit supports FM frequencies from 87.5M to 108MHZ.
3) The DAB adaptor will the scan for radio Stations, on
completion of this, the number of channels detected will
show and Channel 1 of ?? channels will automatically begin
to play. To selcet your desired station, short press key 4 or 9
for prey freq/next freq (the name of the station will appear in
the display as well as the channel number ??/??). When
the desired channel is reached leave the button and the
channel will lock in (station number, name and other live
information will be displayed).

Charging Mode:
To charge a suitable device using the
USB socket (6) simply connect the device to the USB
charging port with the correct cable for the device to be
charged, and charging will begin automatically.

Warning:
In the interests of security, it is recommended to store the
DAB Radio Adaptor out of sight when not in use. Such as
in the glove compartment or boot. Simply unplug the aerial
lead and remove from the 12V power Socket.
