X-Axis
–
Press the + and
–
buttons to adjust the dimension of the X-axis. This will add
or subtract lines along the Y-axis, in multiples of the current Line Spacing.
Y-Axis
–
Press the + and
–
buttons to adjust the dimension of the Y-axis. This will add
or subtract lines along the Y-axis, in multiples of the current Line Spacing.
Line Spacing
– Press the
+ and
–
buttons to adjust the line spacing. This will update
the X-Axis and Y-Axis dimensions to the nearest multiple of Line Spacing.
7.2.4 Starting (or Resuming) Grid Data Collection
Press Start when all the grid parameters are setup and data collection is ready to begin.
If you select a previously-collected, partial grid (Figure 7-32), pressing Start takes you into that
grid and data collection resumes where you left off. Most configuration settings will need to be
the same in order to continue a previously started grid (e.g. frequency, step size etc.).
If at least 3 lines are collected in that grid, the Slice View button is enabled. Slice View (8) is
described in the next section.
Press Delete to delete all collected lines in that grid.

7.2.5 Laying out the grid
Positional accuracy of each line is vital to locating targets of interest once data has been
processed.
