FAULT FINDING
None of the LED indicators or displays light when the on/off switch
is depressed.
i.
Check that the mains supply is connected.
ii.
Check that the fuse in the mains plug (if any) has not
blown.
iii.
Check that the internal fuse has not blown (Refer to
Section 5.6)
iv.
Contact Sencon.
The operation has "locked up" and/or the displays show
meaningless information.
i.
Perform a master reset (refer to Section 3.5). All readings
will be lost from memory. Ensure that the rating voltage
and duration is correctly reset.
ii.
Check that the mains voltage setting is correct.
iii.
Contact Sencon.
NOTE: If this fault occurs frequently and operation 1 cures the
fault, it is likely that the mains supply to the unit is noisy or
interrupted. This must be corrected for reliable operation.
The milliamp reading is incorrect with the test cable connected.
i.
Check that the mains voltage setting is correct.
ii.
Check that the probe plug is secure in its socket.
iii.
Inspect the probe wiring and connectors for damage or
corrosion.
iv.
Proceed to Section 5.4 "Calibration".
