(4)  Reattach the top cover.

Close the top cover securely. Otherwise, it may cause poor sheet feeding.

(5)  If the ERROR lamp (red) is on, check (3) and (4) again.
(6)  The following are possible causes of the sheet jam.

Check each item and take the necessary action if there is a problem.
